Divine Chocolate
Posted on October 9th, 2004, in the evening
I've been at a Holy Trinity Brompton conference on church growth for the last couple of days. It's been excellent stuff (as always with HTB) - it's such a pleasure spending time in the atmosphere of such a rich, humble, generous spirituality.
In the context of so much that's brilliant it's probably a small thing, but just to highlight the integrity of everything that goes on at HTB: they gave us Fair Trade chocolate bars with our lunches.
Fair Trade is in my opinion a key contemporary issue in seeking to advance the kingdom of God so it would be worth it anyway, but when standing for justice involves eating the nicest chocolate you'll ever taste there really is no excuse.
Check out divinechocolate.com for details of (among others) Divine and Dubble chocolate bars. They have details of where to buy (including several big-name supermarkets), their story and ways you can get involved in what they're trying to do.
You can also buy Divine chocolate online at goodnessdirect.co.uk (UK) or serrv.org/divine (US).
