Worship Setlist - Apr 10, 2005
Posted on April 11th, 2005, in the evening
Yesterday morning at Kings
- Let everything that has breath - Matt Redman
- It's rising up - Matt Redman, Martin Smith
- There's a pageant of triumph in glory - David Fellingham
- He is exalted - Twila Paris
- Open the eyes of my heart - Paul Baloche
- Holy, holy, holy - Reginald Heber
- Draw me close to you - Kelly Carpenter
- I never want anything in my life to take your place - Wes Sutton
- Blessed be your name - Matt Redman
The first set ended rather limply with a broken string. A broken string is not normally a killer blow (now a one minute operation), but the broken string was just the start. Within the minute after I left my very small worship band with 'Holy, holy, holy' I discovered the following in quick succession:
- That my guitar case with spare strings in had been moved to an unknown location.
- That the guitar cable was jammed in my guitar, meaning I had to disconnect the other end from the multicore and trail off with it to find the new string.
- That I'd managed to drop the multicore end of the cable in a cup of water.
Even if I could find my case with the string, the cable I was using offered the enticing prospect of electrocuting me upon reinsertion, and I couldn't change the cable because the other end was jammed in my guitar.
Checkmate!
