Guardian readers summarising the Bible

A fairly amusing spectacle (the reader comments). Everyone trying so very hard to be witty, cutting and/or original. Quite instructive to see what people imagine to be the essence of Christian teaching, though.
I also like the fact that the main article highlights the vicar's misuse of the word 'principle' with a quietly superior "[sic]" literally the sentence after referencing the Old Testament's "39 chapters". They sure showed him who's smart!
