High numbers again this morning, and we had another uptempo start. After Give thanks to the Lord I opened things up with one of my usual encouragements - "why don't two or three people pray out thanks and praise" - but with slightly unusual results this morning: the floodgates opened! I think upwards of ten or fifteen people contributed scriptures, prayers, encouragements. We've been praying for a greater freedom in our Sunday worship and people are clearly coming prepared to contribute. It multiplies the richness of our worship as more voices help to lead. All very encouraging!
