Carol Service at Kings

• Once in royal David's city

• Joy to the world
• Hark the herald angels sing

Well, I managed not to mix up 'Once in royal' and 'Hark the herald' this year. A few minor fluffs, but it was an excellent service!

Services for occasions like this demand a different set of skills from the worship leader. The ability to lead worship is more important than technical ability at our normal meetings, but at 'occasions' technical ability comes to the fore. My strength is definitely in worship leading rather than technical ability, so it's a good job we have such a lot of fantastically talented musicians about.
