An excellent morning, another measure deeper in worship. And Roger Forster was inspiring on Eph 2.

I have been reflecting this week on the considerable degree to which the depth of a worship leader's personal devotion affects the depth of their leading. I'm actively pursuing greater depth in my own devotional life, and the result seems clear (to me at least) in the quality of my preparation to lead and the resources I have for leading as the meeting unfolds.

I've also decided to add electric guitar to the core Sunday morning band (in addition to male vocals, female vocals, guitar, keys, bass and drums). The dynamics and layers a good electric guitar player adds to the sound is enormous.
