The evening meeting was excellent as well. The room was absolutely packed. People have really been connecting with worship all day.
That's the first time I've led with Tim Hughes' 'Everything'. (Chords and audio are up in the passionforyourname.com archive.) The verses are great and the "Christ in me" bridge is fantastic. But it's one of a number of new songs with an enormous range in the melody. If you play it low you're mumbling the verses and if you play it high the congregation can't sing the chorus. Matt Redman's (otherwise superb) 'Nothing But The Blood' is similar, as are a couple of good songs on his new 'Beautiful News' album.
