The Telegraph praising hymns

I've just happened upon 'In Praise of Hymns', a series on the Telegraph website telling the story of various famous hymns.
The articles reproduce the lyrics, link to the midi files on CyberHymnal and provide some interesting background to each hymn. (For 'interesting' read 'bizarre and slightly macabre' in the case of 'Stand up, stand up for Jesus'!)
There's a nervousness about anything other than the broadest strokes of theology (see the paragraph on the line "changed from glory into glory" in 'Love divine, all loves excelling'), but it's great to see some of those rich lyrics in a national newspaper!
