Baptisms this morning so several songs with a 'river' anaolgy, which turned out to be especially topical for other reasons. "Into the river I will wade"? Perhaps not this morning!

We're still finding out feet with the new service format (having the main block of songs at the end.) Planning and leading that last block is so dependent on good communication with both the preacher and the meeting leader. Every song and prayer has to be tightly focussed on the theme and on the response the congregation are making to the sermon.
