Sunday evening at Kings

It's always exhausting leading two meetings in a day and my voice was feeling the strain this evening, but our first meeting in the new evening venue really lifted.

I deliberately led a little beyond where we sometimes go. I don't like making people feel uncomfortable with what's going on in worship, but there are definitely times to push things on a step.

One of the risks of having a fairly diverse congregation in terms of churchmanship is that we default to the lowest common denomenator. Instead what we're aiming for are the riches of that diversity.

'Crown him' into the chorus of 'Jesus, lover of my soul' is a move worth remembering!
