About me
I was born on the Feast of St. Waldetrudis, the 100th day of the Eighties. I share the date (although not the year) with Isambard Kingdom Brunel who knew about bridges, and Carl Perkins who knew about shoes.
I grew up in Frinton-on-Sea, famous for its railway gates, spent a few years in London, famous for its fog, and now live in Durham, famous for its cow.
I studied Sociology and Philosophy at Essex University, then Christian Leadership with Ichthus Christian Fellowship.
Work-wise, I split my time between directing Worship, Media and Arts for my church and freelance web development.
I read a lot, write songs, look after a kitchen-shelf herb garden, play bass in a ceilidh band, travel as much as I can, own a saxophone and like the sea.
I'm summarising the Bible on Twitter, and was once one of CNN's 'Most Intriguing People of the Day'.
My wife is a language teacher. My son is small, but growing rapidly.
I'm an open-minded, whole-hearted Christian.
You can find me on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Last.fm. Or play me at chess.
